Install the FARMIS app

FARMIS is distributed as an APK from the FARMIS download page. There is no Google Play listing yet, and there is no iPhone version.

What you need

• An Android phone with a reasonably recent version of Android.
• About 150 MB of free space (the installer is around 132 MB).
• An internet connection to download.

Step 1 — Download

1. Open the FARMIS download page on your phone.
2. Tap the green Download App button.
3. The file farmis.apk saves to your Downloads folder.

Step 2 — Allow installs from this source

The first time you open the file, Android asks if you trust apps from this source.

1. In the prompt, tap Settings.
2. Turn on Allow from this source (also called Install unknown apps).
3. Tap back to return to the installer.

You only do this once.

Step 3 — Install

1. Tap Install.
2. If Google Play Protect warns you, tap Install anyway. This warning is normal for apps installed outside the Play Store.
3. When the installer finishes, tap Open.

The FARMIS icon also appears on your home screen.

Updating

When a new version is released, download the new APK from the same page and install it the same way. Your account and saved crops stay intact.

Troubleshooting

Once installed, head to Register and sign in.
