About
Pineapple is a low-growing tropical fruit thriving in well-drained lowland soils across Papua New Guinea. Each plant bears a single sweet fragrant fruit and produces side suckers that become the next planting generation.
Health Benefits
High in vitamin C, manganese, and the enzyme bromelain. Aids digestion, reduces inflammation, and supports immunity. Naturally low in fat and sodium.
Market Requirements
Buyers prefer fruit 1-2 kg with golden-yellow base colour, firm flesh, and intact green crown. Pack standing on the crown in shallow crates to prevent bruising.
