About
Noni is a traditional medicinal tree native to the Pacific region and widely found in PNG coastal areas. The fruit, leaves, bark, and roots have been used in traditional medicine for centuries. Despite its strong smell and bitter taste, noni fruit juice has gained international demand as a health supplement.
Health Benefits
Contains scopoletin (anti-inflammatory), xeronine precursors, antioxidants, and vitamin C. Traditionally used for pain relief, immune support, skin conditions, and digestive health. Leaves used as poultices for wounds.
Market Requirements
Ripe fruit is translucent white and soft with a strong cheese-like smell. Process into juice within 1-2 days. Juice should be properly fermented. Leaves can be sold fresh or dried.
