About
Mango is a long-lived tropical fruit tree grown throughout the lowlands of Papua New Guinea. Trees flower at the end of the dry season and bear sweet fragrant fruit prized in local markets and increasingly for export.
Health Benefits
High in vitamin A, vitamin C, and dietary fibre. Supports vision, immunity, and digestion. The flesh contains antioxidants that support skin health.
Market Requirements
Buyers want unbruised fruit with intact stems and even colour. Pack in single-layer crates with paper or banana leaf between fruits. Export markets demand strict size grading and fly-free certification.
