Health Benefits
Good source of fibre, vitamins B1 and B6, potassium, and manganese. Contains nasunin (in purple skin), a potent antioxidant. Low calorie and supports heart health.
Market Requirements
Fruit should be firm, glossy, and heavy for its size. Skin should be smooth and unblemished. Avoid overripe fruit with dull skin, brown seeds, or soft spots.
